A standard compact camera.
they look pretty good, dont know how much a camera will improve the quality tho...
the most important tool of a cameraman imo, is not the camera but the cameraman's eyes themselves..

Hmm I would say 50% cameraman 50% camera la. With that said, I have seen people with fancy expensive cameras taking lousy shots =/
