A Little Update

I just got back from UK a few days ago (reached home on the 12th to be exact). I've been busy catching up with life and getting used to the time here over the past few days. I also don't have my laptop with me, which explains my disappearance from MSN recently.

But I do have some pictures which I took both in UK and at home which are still waiting to be uploaded (will do that as soon as I figure out how to..) and I hope to get it up asap so everyone else can have a look at it.

The connection and upload speed here is ridiculous though so it might take a wee bit longer than expected.

Royal Fort Gardens - revisited

Went back to Royal Fort Gardens again today, hoping that it would somewhat be in full bloom and I would be able to get some nice macro shots. How disappointed was I. There was almost nothing in there that was nice and photographable =(

And I really need to work on my White Balance. I realised today that the camera's Auto White Balance is pretty much useless.

Dirty kitchen? Must be your housemates

On the first day of shifting into my new property sometime in October 06, I had high hopes. What kind of people will I be living with? Are they nice? How will my room be like? Will everything be nice and tidy?

I blame it all on my first year housemates, who were awesome people.

Kitchens should really come with their own warning labels

Well the room bit was fine. No bloodstain on the walls or stuff like that. What's next? To check out the kitchen of course. Boy was I in for a surprise

Believe it or not? All this junk came from one person only

Yup, not the ideal way to kick off the year. Kitchen was in a complete mess and I could kinda guess how my year would go.

Fast forward 8 months to June 07. Nothing has changed

Looks can be deceiving. You'll never guess what's under the bin..

Even the poor bee can't take it anymore

Not to mention that everytime I enter the kitchen now, there's this funny smell coming out of somewhere... At least I only have a few more days before I leave this damn place and never come back. Sure hope I get better housemates next year.

I would also like to thank my Malaysian pals (pictured below) for their unwavering support throughout this (very torturesome) period of time. I will never forget what you guys have done for me!
